Ochota Barrels was founded by Taras and Amber Ochota, inspired by a whirlwind surf-and-wine journey before settling in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills. They focus on organic, low‑intervention winemaking, hand‑picked fruit, native yeasts, and early harvests to preserve natural acidity and energy. Their playful labels reference punk music, and production is small-batch, textured, and evocative; crafting wines alive with spirit and finesse. Ruby-hued and electric, this Pinot Meunier delivers bright raspberry, cherry, pink florals, and exotic fennel-seed spice. Dry‑farmed vines lend delicacy and depth. Skin contact and gentle open-top fermentation yield tightly wound fine tannins and pulsing red‑berry fruit: rhubarb, feijoa, and lifted floral perfume.
